This policy explains how Domestic Freight LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information you provide through this website, including the CDL driver application.
Information we collect
When you submit a driver application, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number and email address
- Your ZIP code
- Whether you hold a Class A CDL, and your years of driving experience
- The position you are interested in
- A copy of your driver’s license, if you choose to upload one
- Your SMS consent selections
We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers or background-check data through this website.
How we use it
- To evaluate your application and contact you about driving positions
- To verify your CDL, medical certification and work history
- To send transactional messages about your application, where you consented
- To send recruiting and promotional messages, only where you separately consented
- To meet FMCSA and DOT recordkeeping obligations
Text messaging
Consent to receive text messages is optional and is collected separately for transactional and for promotional messages. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Opting out of promotional messages does not withdraw your application.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except subcontractors acting on our behalf to deliver the messages, such as our SMS provider.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that operate this site and our recruiting workflow (for example our form processor, SMS provider and applicant tracking system), and where required by law or by federal motor carrier regulations.
Retention
Driver application records are retained for the period required by applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations, and otherwise only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted, and you may withdraw SMS consent at any time. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and application data is transmitted directly to our form processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for commercial drivers and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
